Passion Flower

Passionflower’s primary use is as a calming herb often prescribed for anxiety disorders. It is usually combined with other calming herbs such as valerian and lemon balm. It is generally considered somewhat milder than valerian.

However several studies have shown it to be as effective as the drug, oxazepam (Serax), and it has fewer side effects, including mental and physical impairment.

It is commonly included in ED preparations because a reduction in anxiety can enhance the ability to perform sexually for some people.

You can purchase passionflower as Infusions, teas, liquid extracts and tinctures.
